Levi's Blog on Unity
Unity comes in two stages; the first phase of unity is the time when the state or condition of separate things work toward the goal of becoming one. It is the combining of separate things or entities and joining them together to form one single component. The second stage of unity is when those separate things join and harmonize their interests, feelings & opinions. The goal of the two stages of unity is that these separate units must become a single unit in thought and motion, yet retain their individuality and singleness so that certain goals and objectives are met. I believe that TMC can provide the platform by which the first phase can take place….the second phase then rests on those involved and their responsibility in responding to unify the movement as God’s children, no mater what the varying doctrines are, as long as the essentials are the same. We all must be praying for this movement and its unity, Yeshua is coming….Levi

AnAmethyst commented on December 26, 2010: An interesting contrast, of the concerted effort of many toward unity of purpose, unity of heart, unity of action, and its contrast to the acts of each person within that effort, our acts that are often solitary, acts of spiritual fasting, the study of the Word, and even some times solitary prayer. Yet, indeed, I see that any action toward unity begins with these few solitary acts. |
alanisagear commented on December 13, 2010: I too have much so say concerning unity. There can be no unity while in bondage. The taskmasters of this age are appetite, debt, self indulgeance, and self centered goals. Many are unequally yoked together in that they trust secular jobs to be their support or livleyhood. When will we truely come together to work, worship, and serve our YAH? |
